The grate lifts
The grated cover comes off first. It rests in the upper frame.

Upper frame and ledge
The frame that seats the grate rises next, followed by the intermediate ledge beneath it.

Riser body
The riser extends the basin up toward the surface. Below it, the lower frame lifts off the base.
